@marikoko11 doing work on our @fpinnovations MP trainer. Testing the track length on this gem of a pulley machine. Have had her doing some hard running over the last 3 sessions straight. No back pain residuals at all. Really starting to connect things now.

♳Assim como no agachamento tradicional com barra, as escápulas devem permanecer em retração, com os "ombros para trás" (figura da esquerda).

♴Evitar que os ombros estejam em protusão (figura da direita). Com esse posicionamento dos ombros haverá maior chance de aumento da cifose torácica, o que pode ser altamente lesivo devido a alta sobrecarga utilizada no exercício.

♵Esse erro também é comumente observado no Agachamento Hack (Hack machine).

✅Preserve as curvaturas fisiológicas da coluna, mantenha as escápulas em retração, cabeça alinhada com a coluna e abdomen contraído. Essas observações são importantes para todos exercícios que produzam uma sobrecarga compressiva à coluna.

What do you enjoy most about being an Exercise Scientist and Performance Coach?
As someone who has had their fair share of injuries due to sport and competition, I understand what it feels like to be held back from doing something that I love. There’s nothing better to me than seeing my athletes and patients return to doing what they love, and them getting to see the strength that their body is capable of in the process! 💪

Highlight of your year so far?
Seeing an athlete of mine, Nathan make his return to playing soccer for Heidelberg United in the NPL this year after working hard all year with me to rehabilitate an ACL injury sustained 12 months ago

Ideal holiday destination?
The Amalfi Coast in Italy. Don’t think anything can top beautiful beaches and all that Pizza! 🏖🇮🇹

Leaving the legs extended straight out with no support can place unnecessary stress on the lower back. Propping up the knees on a pillow will help maintain the curves of your spine and will take off some of the pressure. It can also help with circulation. .
