Most amazing thing happened last night...we bought tickets the day of the Billy Joel concert on a whim. I almost didn't because "I should be saving" but we found a decent price so I pulled the trigger. The seats we bought were in the literal LAST row of the garden, but we didn't care because we would get to hear him just as well! As we're getting out of the concession line, trying to find something to put mustard on so I could dip my hot pretzel in it, two young people approach us. They tell us that they are a part of Billy Joel's crew and that at every show he reserves a couple rows of seats for people to move to from their "not so great" seats, and asked if we were interested. We obviously were, but were waiting for "HA just kidding!" So we took the tickets that said ROW 2 on them and realized that this was not a joke. So...this view is the result of that. This picture was not zoomed at all.
This guy is a legend and I could not be happier to have seen him. Truly an unforgettable night! ...and to think I wasn't going to go because "I should save the money". Worth every penny. 🎶💸 #billyjoel #billyjoelconcert #madisonsquaregarden #startedfromthebottomnowwehere
