ONE YEAR AGO... I can't help but be so shocked again at my #bikinicompetitionprep .

๐Ÿ‘Œ These are some of the spices I use on THE regular when I meal prep. They are really easy to use and go well with many types of food. For example: I put black pepper on my hard boiled eggs and literally everything else I make that's savory of course; cinnamon in oatmeal or roasted sweet potatoes(currently on my protein waffles); cayenne pepper, ground mustard seed or ginger i cook with my salmon or roasted veggies. Of course by using these spices ALONE won't help you to lose weight. You have to make sure that you're in a calorie deficit, meaning calories consumed has to be LESS than energy burned. It's simple as that. And of course staying CONSISTENT with it is key๐Ÿ‘

#day 9 #60daychallenge #bikinicompetitionprep Yesterday, I was in so much pain in my lower back. It was difficult to stay standing and sitting for a long period of time. I saw my chiropractor, and he helped align my back and pelvis correctly. Also getting a deep tissue massage helps as well ๐Ÿ˜œ. But this is a message I had to listen to my body.

I have been meaning to try "crackslaw" as it's known in the body building world.
It's awesome and I think you might like it too. Healthy meal with a sweet yet spicy flavour. Of course I actually tweaked it to that a little.
I mixed together 2 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce, 1tsp white vinegar, 1 tsp stevia, 1/2 tsp minced ginger, 1/2 tsp hot sauce and mixed the sauce into 3 cups cabbage slaw mix.
I cooked the slaw mix in skillet for couple of mins til wilted and heated. I then added 3/4 cup cooked taco beef (could use plain beef)
Yum, get in my belly type meal. Quick easy and healthy. Win win!

My 2 week #TransformationTuesday. SLOW progress is better than NO progress. Right now I'm frustrated with the scale, but the check-in pictures are keeping me accountable and are encouraging me to keep on going. Like my coach says, "pictures don't lie.". -- Going into this prep I knew it wasn't going to be easy. Sure it sucks to feel sore, tired and hungry the majority of the time, but I'm incredibly determined to get up on stage and prove to myself that I can conquer my fear of being judged on stage in a bikini. This journey only going to get harder as the months go on, but I'm ready to push through and fight to achieve my goal. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป
