Funny how you can sometimes relate to random numbers...
In a past life as a Train Service Employee (Conductor / Engineer), my home station (Birmingham) was Milepost 000389. Nashville 000189
Saturday I will be riding with my cycling family...
I have met so many amazing people and learned so much about my city, myself and how much better off we all can be when we focus on everyone around us! I have made so many friends and have been so blessed to be a part of the Redemptive family for the past 3 years!
Do you want to find yourself or discover the true meaning of humanity? Come join The #rcfamily any Thursday night for a bike ride through our city! You won't believe the experience! Words can't begin to describe the feeling of inclusion when you are hanging in a group of people comprised of Doctors, Scientists, Teachers, VP's, Blue Collars, Food Service Workers, Chaplains, Students, Mechanics, Volunteers, The Homeless....every ethnic background you could imagine...and for a couple of hours EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT, everyone is equal. Everyone is family!
Saturday, we will ride Cycliad as a family in support of the Deep South Cancer Foundation that does so much for individuals and families that are fighting cancer in our neighborhoods. I plan on riding the 30 mile route and then catching up with the 10 mile Brunch Crawl to help the Redemptive Cork Team protect the group. If you want to be a part of this family, this support team, this movement....join us tomorrow night or any Thursday on the Trample. Or register for the Magic City Cycliad and come hang out with us this Saturday!
