Milky way captured from a flying airplane. Shot along the flight from Dallas, Texas to Denver, Colorado.
Shooting milky way on a flying plane’s never been an easy mission to accomplish. However, I have learnt lessons from the last attempt in 2016. This flight, I brought a scotch tape along with me and, of course, a tripod and a black jacket to cover the window. The tape helped me hold the jacket firmly, hence the shoot went on very smooth. .
During this short flight I shot roughly 200 pictures, but ended up with acceptable sharpness only 11 pictures. They were stacked and created smart object then median stacked in photoshop.
A short clip behind the scene of this shoot available via this link.
