How sweet are my friends to bring me #cholebhature #samosa #pakora all the way from the #deepavalifestival because I was too tired to sample any of the foods last night. Ok I wasn’t tired but still stuffed from the #ilovestreetfoodawards festival. Chole Bhature is one of my favourite Indian dishes & originates from the northern region of India. “Chole” is a spicy is curry made from chickpeas & “Bhature” is a fried leavened bread made from maida flour, make sure to have with the red onion pickle or just freshly sliced red onions (trust me, it’s a must with this beauty dish). An Indian Restaurant who I think makes one of the best Chole Bhature I have ever tasted is located in Blacktown called “Sardaar Saab.” Want to hear something funny though, I sampled their foods at an Indian Food Festival only to find out when I used to live in Blacktown, they were situated right across the Rd from me. Like literally 20 steps across the Rd🙄 I was kicking myself, I walked past this Restaurant everyday & never thought to walk inside. Now whenever I’m in Blacktown, I always try to stop by for my usual. #cravingsatified .
