You’ve always taught me to carry myself with dignity, class, and respect. You’ve always taught me that credit is earned through honesty and persistence. Being somewhat a rebel as a kid, I’ve been seriously disciplined, grounded, allllmost kicked out of home, and had my butt whooped so many times for getting home minutes past curfew, sneaking out to dance practices with my sisters, trying to cut class in kindergarten, and playing pranks on our nannies. I lost count of how many letters of repentance I’ve written...and the hours spent to come up with new ways to apologize 😂 But I was also that lucky kid who got to draw on walls at home, keep 12 pets at a time, and travel the world every summer. You have never, ever pushed me to get good grades, but have always encouraged me to put in all my effort to pursue my passions. You’ve given me so much freedom to explore the world and unleash my creativity, while teaching me the importance of integrity and self-discipline. And whenever I felt the pressure to conform, you were always there to remind me that nothing matters more than staying true to myself. You’ve always asked me to stand up for myself...we’ll get there someday lol. Thank you for being a true mentor and role model. Happy birthday mom! 💕I love you!!!
