I don't usually love before and after pictures based purely on aesthetics. I prefer to focus on the improvement of the clients physical capabilities and lifestyle enjoyment. These will lead to the big appearance changes, but it's a much healthier mental process.
However, I do understand that for many the appearance change is the primary, so it's good to show what amazing changes you can make with consistency. Rob, a rugby player for @gothamrugby, has been on a huge physical journey the last three years. He epitomizes dedication and consistency, and his ability to stick to a plan and trust the process is why he's been able to make both great changes.
In 2014 he decided to make a positional change in Rugby. We set about beefing him up, which saw about 40lbs heavier 18 months down the line. However after hitting some of his squatting goals (400lbs +) he wanted to focus more on his speed and agility, and a more favorable strength to weight ratio would aid in that. We specifically altered his diet, and 3 months later he's about 20lbs lighter with visible abs.
Now the important thing here is not about which looks better, that's personal. But it shows you what is possible. He's never done an extreme crash diet, or trained more than 5 times a week. Just consistency and hard work. Well done, mate!
