When relationships come to an end it can be devastating and the pain can go on for a long time.
Some tips to help you when you are struggling:
It ca be easy to think obsessively about your ex - only do it for short periods of time and then force yourself to get on with something distracting - running scenarios in your head will prolong the pain
Get out of your regular surroundings - go and visit friends, take a weekend or week away - if you are not able to do that change the house around, get some new bedding, buy flowers
Don't go onto their social media accounts, this will really make you crazy - delete what you can and focus on your life, not theirs
With time things get easier - take good care of yourself
