☝🏼 SHE is my reason of why. Why I love German shepherds so much. She is loyal, loving, playful and an absolute joy to have. She has changed my life and it’s safe to say I think she loves me as much as I love her. She is my reason of why I root so much for shepherds in the shelter. What they are capable of bringing to one person or a families life is nothing short of amazing. Yes I do care for all dogs..all dogs who have unfortunately wound up in a shelter at no fault of their own. German Shepherds are one of the breeds that absolutely do not do well in the shelter. The shelter isn’t only a confusing place to be, but also a loud place where a dog is typically isolated in a small kennel mostly all day every day. With no socialization, any mental or physical activity they deteriorate, act out or they will completely shut down. It is heartbreaking to witness. These three things are also reasons of why shepherds end up shelters, because their owners failed to give them what they need and in return get destructive behavior from boredom. You give them proper training and they will love, respect, care and protect you. I see all of those things in my relationship with Stella. So thank you Stella (even though you can’t read) for being my companion. I wouldn’t trade you for the world! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
