Most of my trips consist of little to no planning, I enjoy the challenge and the freedom this presents. However every once in a while this comes back to bite me. The Kalalau trail was one of those times. It wasn't until I was on the island that I found out permits must be reserved 6 months to a year in advance and with out one your limited to a small portion of the trail. I made the best of it at the time but remain haunted by what I missed out on. Hiking the Kalalau trail in its entirety will have to sit at the top of my bucket list for now.
I had the opportunity this week to visit Lake Havasu City Arizona 🌄 to be a second shooter for my sister in-laws @faitheslater wedding. This is the first time I’ve shot in a desert 🌵 environment. The first time I have travels with my wife and 6month old son. The first time being back in Lake Havasu City since I left after my own wedding! This was a great adventure and am looking forward to sharing Faith and Zack’s wedding story!
Piled high with the freshest fruit we can find 😋 Today you can get our nondairy coconut flavor that was a big hit when we introduced it a couple weeks ago! We have a limited amount so come get it while you can! 📷: @foodlakecity
Just keep swimming. 🐠 Like life, tides and currents are in a constant state of change. Rather than battling against it, resisting it, or trying to rush past it, why not adjust and go with the flow? ▫️ This was during my first practice dive, where I got to swim with fish who do exactly that. ▫️ Their backs reflected dazzling rainbows and they taught me how to be like water. ▫️ Photo by fish whisperer @galen.neil
