Besan ke Ladoo ..
Recipe 👇🏻: On the occasion of Ganesh chaturti I found 2 recipe videos floating all over social media.. one for modak and one for Besan ladoos.. I had all the ingredients for the ladoo.. and so I attempted... for first time it turned out good .. Ganpati Bappa Moraya...🙏 Ingredients:
2 cups Besan
1 cup sugar
Around 1/2 or 3/4 cup ghee
Dry fruits of ur choice
(Be ready to build some 💪🏻) Take a pan, add all of the ghee and let it become hot..,
💁🏻♀️TIP: u have to cook this entirely on slow flame.
Once the ghee is hot add the Besan flour slowly and mix it...
There are 3 stages to this:
1)combine the ghee with the Besan
2) the Besan will absorb all the ghee
3) once the Besan is all roasted and slightly changed colour it will start leaving ghee.. In all the above stages, u cannot stop stirring it and u cannot leave it unattended.. considering this has to be cooked on slow flame u are talking about 30 mins of muscle building..💪🏻 Once the mixture is slightly brownish, and it starts becoming pasty and u get a beautiful aroma in ur kitchen ...
Turn of the gas and let the mixture cook down.
I know... apparently rest of the process does not require cooking ( I was surprised my self)
Now that u have left ur mixture to cool cut ur dry fruits and add to it, it will cook in the heat .
Then add the sugar- u need to use powdered sugar ( I used the normal sugar and that’s y it turned grainy, but it taste good)
Once u add powder sugar , add the cardomom powder and use ur hands and mix well... Make ladoos , and let the set for half n hour.. u can eat the directly it’s completely fine.. U can store them upto 2 weeks.. I am proud of this recipe, as it turned out quiet good for a beginner like me.
