Throwing it back to last week's oatmeal 😂 I'm constantly experimenting with new oatmeal ideas (seriously the best breakfast ever!) but this one is probably my favorite. My arms, shoulders, and back are KILLING ME from @orangetheory 🍊yesterday morning! It was a 90 minute power 💪🏻 session (I just can't resist signing up for the longer classes -- more bang for your buck, right?) and I sure am feeling it.
Training update: I'm registered for two races in September -- a 4 miler in RVA and a 10 miler in Reston, VA. It's all leading up to the Richmond Half Marathon, where I'm looking to PR! •

Breakfast this morning: Coconut berry overnight oats🍓 made with 1/2 cup organic rolled oats, 1 yogurt pot of @traderjoes cultured coconut milk vanilla yogurt (finally dairy free yogurt at Trader Joe's yay!), 1 sliced banana, handful of blueberries, handful of sliced strawberries, 1 tbsp of chia seeds, 1 tbsp of peanut butter, and 1 tbsp cinnamon. Stir, cover, and leave in fridge overnight. Triple Berry Oatmeal!
So warm so comforting and down right perfection!
1/2 C Rolled Oats
3/4 C Skim Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Cardamom
1 tsp Honey 🍯
1 tsp Maca Powder @navitasorganics
1 tbsp @nutiva Coconut Butter
1/2 C Mixed Bluebs, Raspberries, Blackberries
Mash the berries up a little bit and throw it all together over the heat! Wait till the oats cook and then voila you're done!
Top with fresh Berries, Banana and @naturesbasket Chia Seeds!

sorry I totally forgot to post this earlier but this was my breakfast part 2/morning snack/lunch kind of a meal! it's just some oatmeal with brown sugar, sliced almonds, and mixed berries 💗

we're having family friends over for dinner which means pasta, a medium sized fear food, as well as corn 🌽 and watermelon 🍉 we'll see if I manage the watermelon because I might be too scared, but hopefully I can do it as my intake has been pretty low today. I did also just have a handful of nuts when I got home from rehearsal (it was 1-5) so that little afternoon snack will also have helped boost my intake a bit! ☁️
