Yesterday was Sunday's #foodtrip in the city. I am not used being up on a Sunday morning, let alone be walking in 3 huge malls and driving in Manila.
So here goes. Excuse the #wronguseofIG
For lunch, Sangkap, a new Filipino restaurant in Vertis North found on the 2F. Their food was great, filling and affordable. The fried chicken is comparable to Max's, well cooked & good to the bone. I like my pinakbet's veggies not soggy but crunchy and it was just like that. The Lomi was pretty ok.
While I recommend their food selection, their crew was a bit tad of a disappointment. It was "waiting" but no one was waiting at the door checking on waiting customers, our seat was given to someone else, no apologies. Good thing we were patient. The 10% service charge is not worth it.
Dessert at Gerry's grill Trinoma for halo-halo, cheesecakes and coffee. Oh yes, brewed coffee for the full stomach. Halo-halo was ok, cheesecake was the no-bake type.
Dinner, had to drive to Robinson's Manila (good thing Alek was willing to drive-you gotta bribe him with food) for an eat-all-you-can dinner at Tong Yang as Bar Ops for my aunt @la_susannah #claimingit also considering it as @caloyangelo birthday celebration 🎂
I seriously need to exercise. Help me!!! #foodfilledweekend #freefood #happytummy #busoglusog #buhaybaboy🐖 #bellyjelly #sundaydrive #local #aroundthemetro #metroliving #pinas #foodislife #foodmarryme #justdocumenting
