The change of seasons is in the air here in Colorado. The morning sun wakes a bit later and the evening moon appears a bit earlier. This is the time, Ayurveda recommends going easy on your digestion. Have your main meal at lunch and smaller well-cooked, easily digestible foods for breakfast and dinner. This week, I'm starting to slow down and go easy on myself as I prepare to head to The Raj Ayurveda Center for Panchakarma in 2 weeks. (Yay!) Being a person who has always had sensitive digestion, the change of seasons and travel ahead means my tum needs some extra love.
This belly down relaxation pose with a blanket just under the ribs provides gentle sensation and helps support digestion. Love yourself, and take a few weeks to slow down and notice the change around and within.
