Guys. Here it is. The "real" me (side note: I honestly HATE when people quantify something as "real" hence the quote marks to denote total #sarcasm) .
That picture you took totally because you make a habit of having too much #stuff in your hands.. (including your ever present phone) and you inadvertently activated the #camera and didn't even see the gem of a shot you got until 3 weeks later when in a total attempt to avoid #cleaning your house you decide that RIGHT NOW is a perfect time to clear out your overloaded #memory.. .
And the image you see is so goddamn perfect to the situation that you cackle at the irony of it all.
It says "Really? Your procrastinating? AGAIN?" And it's also not the 11th attempt to get the #selfie #angle *just right* so your face looks as #thin as possible and the #light hits your face just so, so that your #darkcircles are less obvious.. .
Plus your #expression is one you know you make ALL. THE. TIME. Because you go thru life hearing the words "What the fuck?" #wtf in your head 5772535 times a day as you watch people #cluelessly navigate life and you are stunned they have made this far, but your working on letting go of a judgemetalist mindset so you keep your trap shut and keep silent but your face has a mind of its own..
So beyond the #filters, beyond the #positive, #gratitude centered, #abundance seeking, #opportunity creating #image that I strive to put forth everyday (because #thoughtsbecomethings, and we're all #manifesting SOMETHING and that's what I want to #attract more of, never forget there's a #befuddled faced, #hotmess of a #human that is always with me too. .
It's ok to be #unflattering sometimes. It's ok to show off the uncurated #reality of who you are and the faces you make when not thinking about angles and light and image.
