WHAT IS IT?
💠Bee pollen is considered one of nature’s most completely nourishing foods, containing nearly all nutrients required by humans
💠It contains all the essential components of life – they are rich in proteins, free amino acids, and vitamins, including B-complex and folic acid
💠Bee pollen in the diet acts to increase high-density lipoproteins (HDL), decrease low-density lipoproteins (LDL), and normalized blood serum cholesterol and triglyceride levels
💠Helps increase immunity and healing (such as wounds)
💠It is important to recognize that a one teaspoon dose of pollen takes one bee working eight hours a day for one month to gather (sorry little 🐝 lol)

How to use it: Incorporate 5g-10g daily (6 carbs 4protein worth) on yogurt, smoothie bowls, omelets, etc. To me, it tastes lightly sweetened and adds a great consistency to smoothie bowls! Maybe it's just another diet fad, but I like that it has the possibility of improving your immune system and super macro friendly topping for food! Have any of you found benefits to this?

This peach and berry smoothie bowl was the perfect way to kick off the last day of summer 🍑🍓☀️I'm sad the season is ending but am so glad it happened. One of the best parts of Ohio is getting the perfect epitome of every season. Summers are sunny and in the 70-80s. Fall is freaking gorgeous 🍁🍂Winter is lovely in its own way, with plenty of pretty snow. The only time it's really dreary is right between winter and spring. But man you should see the show God puts on as he transforms the landscape with every color of flower and bud that breaks thru the grey. Each season leaves you remembering the last one, enjoying every bit of the one you're in, and waiting excitedly for the next one to show up. Can't believe I've seen it all happen 30 times, and yet it still seems magical and surprising to me every time ✨ I hope you're soaking up every bit of summer goodness you can today!

the smoothie: 1c water, 1tbs @navitasorganics chia seeds, half of a banana, one handful of ripe strawberries, and a big handful of frozen strawberries.

I ran out of the fruit and veggie juice I made for the dogs so they got peaches and bee pollen! Approximately half of new pollen protein is made up of free-form amino acids, which require no digestion; they are immediately absorbed and utilized by the body. It is unusually high in the bioflavonoid rutin, which strengthens capillaries, protects against free radical damage and has anti-inflammatory effects. I also like it because it helps dogs with allergies. It's important to make sure your pet isn't allergic to be pollen before it becomes a staple in your healing kitchen. Start with only a couple of grains a day and check to make sure your pet doesn't start wheezing. Increase slowly until you get to about a 1tsp. You can put bee pollen in your pet's meal a few weeks before allergy symptoms start or all year round. It's the Jewish new year, the holiday of apples & honey... but since I'm not allowed eating apples right now and figs - not apples - are one of the all important 7 species listed in the bible, I kinda feel like I'm nailing the holiday with this fig & honey (and bee pollen & tahini for good measure) topped fluffy AF almond flour waffle 😜💜🙌🍯
