#ISHRTW Day 7. I do not visit Italy for gelato. I visit for its pizza. Here, unlike in Australia or the US, pizza is most often sold 'al taglio' - by the slice. You indicate how much you want - gesticulation required - and it's sold by weight.
There's certainly going to be no such thing as 'best pizza in Rome', but Gabriele Bonci's Pizzarium - considered one of the godfathers of pizza - impressed to the nines. Pictured: prosciutto & burrata, buffalo mozzarella & fresh tomato, beef cheeks. All this for only €10.5, and all of it straight flavour crack to the taste buds.
