A few meals today, both of which were enjoyed with an #intuitiveeating approach. My #breakfast was a salted caramel cinnamon apple crunch #proyo fluff bowl of epic proportions, but it was so much food, that I could only eat about half of it LOL 😭. Today's #lunch was some #beefandbroccoli with mushrooms over jasmine rice and, I was able to eat most of this, with minimal waste 🙌🏻. It used to bug me to leave food on my plate/in my bowl because I was raised not to waste anything, but that logic, along with lack of self control, is what ultimately led to my obesity as a child and into early adulthood. Now, since I've lost a huge amount of weight and follow a #flexibledieting approach with #macros 🤓, I've had to relearn to listen to those natural hunger signals and focus on satiety. In doing so, I'm able to more successfully incorporate periods of time where I can "freely" eat what I want and either lose or maintain weight within that timeframe, give or take a pound or two. That to me, is what this lifestyle is all about. The freedom to enjoy the little things in life that truly matter! There is a time and place to be strict with #nutrition and right now, I'm just enjoying the opportunity to indulge a little without feeling guilty.
