When the sun goes down super early in the winter, my mind immediately thinks “time for bed,” and I always have to fight the urge to sleep at 7pm 🙈. The early sunset plus the cold weather is a guaranteed way to keep me inside and under a blanket 🙋🏻♀️. Tonight I’ll be masking with something that is long overdue for a review ➡️ the Gram Double Chemi BanBan pack*, which is a 2-in-1 mask that I’ve had for months now. I like the concept of it, that there are two masks in one jar (separated by a little partition), a pore purifying one and a hydrating one, so you can spot treat areas on your face with the right kind of mask. My first time using it I applied it how it was instructed - use the green pore purifying mask in the t-zone & the yellow hydrating mask in the u-zone (aka everywhere else). The green mask felt like a typical clay mask, quite thick and eventually dried down, while the hydrating mask was a thicker, honey-ish texture. I preferred the hydrating mask way more between the two, considering that dryness is abundant all over my face, and I noticed a boost of hydration afterwards in those areas. The clay mask left my skin a bit red (although it went away quickly), and my t-zone did feel tight and dry. Now I just use the clay mask to spot treat blemishes, and the hydrating mask all over ✨. Side bonus: it includes a spatula! Hope you all have an amazing start to your weekend - anyone seeing the new Star Wars tho?!
