Iโ€™ve never been one for cake. Itโ€™s just not my thing. As a kid I used to scrape the icing off the cake before eating it...eating the cake...not the icing. I didnโ€™t like icing.
As an adult, I just donโ€™t like cake in general, but this cake I made yesterday was amazing. I also made it last year. Lemon blueberry cake. Yum. And I had a small piece.
It made me think about how much I donโ€™t crave sweets since being on Plexus! I would even say now, that sugary foods donโ€™t even taste as good to me! Occasionally Iโ€™ll have a small piece of cake...or a little bit of donut at church ๐Ÿ˜Š but I can do that now and not have it set my day up for craving more and more. Itโ€™s really amazing. Iโ€™ve always made a real effort to not eat much sugar because itโ€™s so horrible for oneโ€™s health but it was always a real struggle! No more. Thanks to Plexus those days are behind me. So now I feel I can truly indulge every so often and I donโ€™t feel the temptation to have as much as I can. Iโ€™m good with a very small amount, as it should be. Itโ€™s a good feeling folks, let me tell ya. it's been a bad week for my health. my cravings have been out of this world, and I haven't cycled due to the smoke. this is me on my second consecutive chocolate bar... Before you look at this and just think it's another gym selfie it's actually a serious post about donut abuse and the affect it's had on me, as you can see in the first photo i was happy and lean but over the last few months I've succumbed to my cravings for donuts and it has had a serious affect on my health and waistline. So this is just a warning to all kids/adults DON'T DO DONUTS think before you eat that donut. Looooove this treat so much I have to share this recipe (swipe for deets ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป) You can make it in a bread tin as a choc protein banana bread or into muffins like this (makes around 12)๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป Such a good little treat to have to beat those sweet cravings, it tastes like yummy cake and gives you a few extra grams of protein #yesplz ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

Mix wet and dry ingredients separately then fold one mixture into the other. Bake on 180 degrees for around 30-40mins for banana bread and 15-20mins for muffins or basically until you can poke it with a wooden stick and it comes out dry.

Top tip, warm one of these babies up and add a scoop of @oppobrothers ice cream. Just wow ๐Ÿ˜
