Another year another powerlifting comp completed with 8/9 lifts beating my last year personals best of 535. Many thanks to my injured couch planning the numbers and correction of form. Also thanks to all my big boys and girls coming down to support. "I've never had great leg genetics" That's how I convinced myself that training legs was not a priority. The fact of the matter is that genetics affects the shape of the muscle, where the muscle starts and stops, it doesn't limit the amount of mass we can put on in the area.
Decided to train my legs twice a week to bring up this lagging body part. Also because, in my opinion, training legs stimulates the largest increase in metabolism which will aid in my journey of transformation.
Growing up as a fat kid, I embraced the bounty feast my Mother smeared on the table Everyday. Then came a point in my life I decided enough is enough, and that's the progress in picture 1. That was the period of bulking and cutting.
