"Harran Gastronomi Okulu" Bask Mutfak Akademisi Dünya Ödülü için Finalde!
KAGİDER Üyesi @ebrubaybarademir İspanya’nın mutfak sanatları ve yemekleriyle ünlü Bask bölgesinde Bask Mutfak Akademisi (Basque Culinary Center) tarafından verilen Bask Mutfak Akademisi Dünya Ödülü’nde (Basque Culinary World Prize) önemli bir başarıya imza attı. Mardin’deki ünlü Cercis Murat Konağı’nın Şefi ve İşletmecisi olan Demir, Birleşmiş Milletler Mülteciler Yüksek Komiserliği’nin desteğiyle gerçekleştirdiği Harran Gastronomi Okulu Projesi ile 110 kişi arasında son 10’a kalmayı ve finalist olmayı başardı. Ödül sosyal sorumluluk alanında başarılı projeler yürüten şeflere veriliyor.
Jüri 17 Temmuz 2017’de Meksika’da bir araya gelerek kazananı belirleyecek. Kazanan şef 18 Temmuz’da Meksika’da ilan edilecek ve ödül töreni Ekim ayında San Sebastian kentinde yapılacak.

Yıllar önce ilk defa @ebrubaybarademir ile gittim Mardin'e... Fotoğrafta gördüğünüz azimli, başarılı, disiplinli, güçlü, yaratıcı iş kadını, harika bir eş mükemmel anne, samimi ve hünerli bu el yıllarca Mardin mutfağını tanıtmaya çalıştı. .
👉Şimdi de yöre kadınlarına istihdam yaratan ve mültecilerin de entegrasyonu ile sosyal gastronomi projesi olan "Harran Gastronomi Okulu" projesi için emek veriyor. Ben onu @kagider_ sayesinde tanıdım ama şimdi tüm dünya onu tanıyor🙏❤️. .

Daniel Patterson’s extensive experience in fine dining merges with Roy Choi’s expertise in street-food to create Locol, a joint restaurant chain project in the USA committed to changing the fast-food concept. Far from being some fantasy around healthy eating, Locol is a very real project that benefits all involved. #JuryBCWP Joan Roca was raised in the family restaurant in Catalonia, where he now runs his own three-Michelin-starred restaurant, El Celler de Can Roca @cellercanroca, with his two brothers Josep and Jordi (a brilliant sommelier and patissier respectively). The three siblings have also recently been made UNDP Goodwill Ambassadors, advocating for better nutrition and food security to promote sustainable development. Roca is passionate about culinary research, and is known for applying technical innovation to traditional cuisine, and for his love of local produce. In 2013, his team premiered El Somni, a multi-sensory production that explores the interaction between food, music and art. He has also pioneered a ‘gastro-botanical’ research project that catalogues rare wild species with the eventual hope that they can be sustainably reintroduced into food culture.

We are pleased to announce that Colombian chef Leonor Espinosa @leoescocina was named the winner of the Basque Culinary World Prize 2017. One of Colombia’s most celebrated chefs and a key figure in its gastronomic renaissance, has nurtured and promoted the value of the country’s biodiversity. Through the Funleo foundation @funleodesarrollo Espinosa has revived the ancestral knowledge and know-how of mainly indigenous and Afro-Colombian peoples. Espinosa’s work has encouraged communities to turn their biological and cultural heritage into tools for socio-economic development. The Basque Culinary World Prize is organized and promoted by the Basque Government under the Euskadi-Basque Country Strategy and the Basque Culinary Center (BCC), a world leading academic institution in gastronomy.
"The award shines a light on those communities that for years have struggled to be recognized for their ancestral value and contribution to national cultural identity. It is a way to mitigate the silence generated by armed conflict, injustice and exclusion. El evento tuvo lugar un día después del anuncio como ganadora del #bcwp17 a la chef colombiana @leoescocina, y contó con la presencia de ponentes de todo el mundo quienes trabajan por la agrodiversidad, el rescate de las culturas alimentarias y la humanización de la alimentación. María Fernanda, merecedora de la primera edición de este premio (#bcwp2016), participó en el Simposio y fue presentada por la escritora mexicana Laura Esquivel, quien lo hizo de una forma que conmovió a la chocolatera y a los asistentes.
