so yesterday i tried out a class at @otftanjongpagar, thanks to @burncalorieswithgwen 💕 it was a solid workout consisting of 30 mins on the treadmill (at differing intensities) and 30 mins of body conditioning exercises and rowing! the treadmill bit was the toughest for me cause i don’t really fancy running and if i do, definitely not on the treadmill! but i guess with this, it was more enjoyable cause it a group workout and the differing intensities made it bearable 😂
body conditioning exercises for the day were pretty similar to what i’ve been doing at F45 so not a surprise.
what makes OTF unique is their treadmill component that allows for increased fat burning effect due to elevated heart rates, which makes you burn more when you move on to the body conditioning / strength workouts.
well this is for you if you enjoy running on the treadmill / want to have a change in your fitness routine / want that extra fat burning effect! i guess it’s worth a try just to gain that experience and see if it’s for you!
that aside, i did my first ever half marathon (21km) today which got me knackered but a pretty good experience for a first attempt and i managed to finish under 3 hours! now to rest and recover this coming week (I KNOW IM CRAZY THANKS TO POORLY MADE DECISIONS - well YOLO right? 😂) 🙈
