@fitmissbliss "I snapped the photo on the right this morning while getting dressed (hence me being in leggings, boots and my bra ๐Ÿ˜‚- anyone else put on shoes before their top? I get dressed this way daily- I just can't get a feel for an outfit without my shoes on). I have been seeing some awesome progress lately with reduction of bloat and shrinking in inches. I have no idea what I weigh b/c I'm on the road...but, I've definitely shrunk (size wise) and am feeling GREAT! Weight loss is not my goal any longer- however, it's always nice to lose some inches and debloat a bit.ย 
For me, eliminating grains and starches from my diet (outside of specific glycogen refeeds) has proven very powerful in transforming my body and shedding body fat- particularly belly fat. I was never one who saw results by eating less of he same crappy food I ate when I was obese. It took a radical shift in my eating style to work for the body I have now- and while it's not perfect, and never will be (I will always live in the body of someone formerly morbidly obese) I am so thrilled with my results.ย 
I struggle to remember or recognize the girl on the left (but I sure miss her boobs ๐Ÿ˜‚). I'm SO glad I took the leap and mustered up the courage to start his journey. I never dreamt I'd have the life I lead today. And yet...here I am.

โžก๏ธLet's talk accountability. Having someone else hold you accountable is one thing, but holding yourself accountable is an entirely different ball game. Holding yourself accountable means following through with what you said you were going to do, which is often easier said than done ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ
โžก๏ธLearning to hold myself accountable, for me, is one of the major reasons I've been able to make positive changes in my life. Let's take working out for example. I do ALL of my workouts at home. I don't have a personal trainer, I don't have a gym membership, and I do not have a workout partner ๐ŸšซThis means that it's up to me, and only me, to hold myself accountable. If I decided to skip every single workout this week, or even this month, no one would know. I don't have a trainer or class instructor waiting for me to show up. It's up to me to show up โ€“ for myself, by myself.
โžก๏ธAccountability is crucial in many aspects of your life - your job, your relationships, your family all require or demand some sort of accountability from you. Living a healthy lifestyle also requires accountability, however, in most cases, it's you and only YOU that can hold you accountable. The power is all yours ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป

Happy #transformationtuesday y'all! 110 week of @kayla_itsines bbg, eating right, caring for my body, and loving the slow process along the way!!! I used to hate with a dying passion my back side... and frankly it was embarrassing to me... I thought dimples and stretchmarks were gross and were just a sign of being unhealthy... BUT turns out 110 weeks later even through everything is a bit more firm and shaped... I STILL HAVE THEM.. why?!?!?!? O yeah, BECAUSE IM A LIVING HUMAN BEING!!!!!! Maybe they are a little less noticeable or not as prominent.... but they are there and there's nothing I can do other then realize that everyone has them! I don't workout to get rid of them anymore, he'll if I could grow a bigger ๐Ÿ‘ but it costed me a few extra dimples... then bring it on! There's never anything to be ashamed of that you have, if you have it then you are just as natural as anyone else! Don't spend you life worrying about the things that we can't change instead look at them a different way! Work towards the way you feel about these thing and how you feel health wise rather then working towards looking a certain way! Photoshop is the enemy today no matter what celeb or gorgeous picture you see of some ass somewhere... dude their ass does not look like that I PROMISE you! Lol be you, be genuine, o and do ya squats am I right?!?! .

I'm heading away up north for the next few days with hopefully some warmish weather. I always look to getaways as a chance to refocus, catch up on lost sleep, eat well and make the most of outdoor exercise. I'm thinking runs and walks along the beach and the occasional gym session at our hotel. I've got the @sweat app ready to go and may even just try some yoga to really get in that R&R zone ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ doing any form of yoga is unheard of for me given how inflexible I am... but always up for a challenge ๐Ÿ˜œ

Struggling sticking to your macros? Here's some tips you might find helpful
โ–ช๏ธAre your calories set too low? If you are aiming to burn fat, you need to be in a calorie deficit, BUT make sure you aren't eating less than you need to be to still make progress. No crash diets ok? ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿผ
โ–ช๏ธAre you overwhelmed tracking? Start with just tracking calories and protein- those 2 things are the MOST important numbers to watch
โ–ช๏ธEat foods you enjoy- if you hate broccoli, than don't eat it- find nutritious foods you like, and eat those things on repeat- but also try new things as well. You might find your preferences change as you improve your nutrition. And if you LOVE donuts, then for heavens sake eat a donut
โ–ช๏ธFocus on volume- eating calorically dense foods too often can sometimes make sticking to your macros more difficult. Include veggies, fruits, greens, egg whites, popcorn, protein waffles, oatmeal, lean meats, rice cakes, etc throughout your day so the quantity of food you eat is larger
โ–ช๏ธEat your calories instead of drinking them
โ–ช๏ธAnd to add to that, drink lots of water and other zero calorie beverages- sometimes when you think you are hungry you are actually just thirsty
โ–ช๏ธHave an evening snack or treat you can look forward to already tracked at the start of the day- save those macros and that will help avoid evening binges

โ˜ผ Today for LISS I went for a 5 mile run around the lake in my neighborhood + on some surrounding trails, IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! I love the warm weather & getting some fresh oxygen while getting my sweat on. I remember that in round 1 I used to have a red face still hours after my workout ๐Ÿ˜‚ this is not the case anymore! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป still, feeling my muscles burn so much is torture ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜„ @fitkaterip, how was cardio & legs for you today?? So I may, or may not, have stayed in my #activewear aaaalllll day today, after my workout first thing this morning ๐Ÿ˜ต Went to the grocery store. Did school pick up and drop off. Went to appointments. The day was busy but made better by active wear ๐Ÿคฃ Is it sad that I'm more comfortable in this than I am in anything else? ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ
After doing all 6 @kayla_itsines resistance sessions (#bbg and #bbgstronger) this week already I decided to have a sleep in, and when I say 'sleep in' I mean 6.30am (you know, kids and all ๐Ÿ˜) and skipped the 5.30am gym sesh. After school and daycare drop off I still made it to my usual #lesmills body pump class and I'll admit only doing the one session this morning I had so much more energy and really enjoyed the class (I have been getting a little bored with it lately, but not today). So I'm thinking I'll just make Fridays #bodypump day only ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป
One more #liss session tomorrow and I'm done for the week ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป I'm thinking some #fastedcardio with a 10km run, broken up half way with a 15 minute #hiit session. Super busy day tomorrow so planning on getting out nice and early to get it done! .

I love BBG because you can do it absolutely anywhere! I am in Budapest, in a random flat apartment and I still have everything I need to get a good sweat session in. I just did BBG legs with nothing but a water bottle, text book, and chair (The text book as my weight and chair as a step). For me, doing only BBG doesn't give me the results or strength gains I want- but I will admit that returning to my BBG roots is always a good choice. You can get up and moving no matter where you are, so prioritize your self and get sweatin ๐Ÿ’ฆ
