➡️Let's talk accountability. Having someone else hold you accountable is one thing, but holding yourself accountable is an entirely different ball game. Holding yourself accountable means following through with what you said you were going to do, which is often easier said than done 🤦🏻♀️
➡️Learning to hold myself accountable, for me, is one of the major reasons I've been able to make positive changes in my life. Let's take working out for example. I do ALL of my workouts at home. I don't have a personal trainer, I don't have a gym membership, and I do not have a workout partner 🚫This means that it's up to me, and only me, to hold myself accountable. If I decided to skip every single workout this week, or even this month, no one would know. I don't have a trainer or class instructor waiting for me to show up. It's up to me to show up – for myself, by myself.
➡️Accountability is crucial in many aspects of your life - your job, your relationships, your family all require or demand some sort of accountability from you. Living a healthy lifestyle also requires accountability, however, in most cases, it's you and only YOU that can hold you accountable. The power is all yours 👊🏻
