When it's really too early in the morning to get creative and end up going nuts with the blade. Still soul! Too much scoring on the surface will hinder the optimal development of the crumb during the bake. Stick to the plan!
didn't get to cut open that gifted loaf... hopefully the crumb was as lovely as this teeny bun I made out of the excess dough. 50% whole grain (mix of whole wheat, rye and spelt). devoured just warm out of the oven.
