Definitely didn’t think I would get BBG Week 7 Legs in today because earlier on, I didn’t feel so great since it’s that time of the month so I just did Yoga and thought that was that BUT once it hit around my girls bed time, I got this burst of energy that made me want to do it! Maybe because I’m so used to getting it done on Monday, who knows🤷🏼‍♀️ But I bust my butt to make sure it was done before I put my girls down and it was a success that was fuuuuull of sweat💦 This tanks saying is so true at this point: Messy Hair Don’t Care and boy is my hair messy/crazy🤪

A successful Monday has come and gone and I’m ready for tomorrow’s workouts to begin💪🏼

Well... I’m not as upset as I thought I’d be over my 6 month hiatus. I gained about 20 lbs back but I’m glad to see that I’m still not where I started back in April of 16. I was worried I’d lost all my progress and I’d be starting back at square one. I’m still kicking myself about slipping back into my old habits but, it is what it is and all that matters is that I’m back & I’m not giving up on myself. 💥

Feeling proud of my day! I obviously lead a very Trader Joe's heavy diet (there's one down the street from my work), which I LOVE! Fresh, tasty, healthy meals that get me through Mondays ☺️🍌🍯🥕🧀

Kayaking is a great form of LISS! It’s working my arms, shoulders and abs. I’m off for a few hours on an adventure with my youngest (that’s him being at cat at the end of both videos😺) - I’m pulling him along in a big inflatable ring. Check out the colours of the rocks and land here. So amazing. 😍 This place is pure bliss.

Week24.Mon - 1/22/2018

Today’s #whole30 day 16 dinner - braised pork in coconut water and brussel slaws. I had a painful stomach ache this afternoon, potentially from the lack of food in the morning followed by an acidic salad. I brought my own dressing for a dine-out lunch and it’s really a struggle to eat out while whole30. It’s been a bit hard the last two days and I really hope it gets better! Today’s workout was a super tough leg routine.

I've been MIA this last week. Did legs on Monday last week...and that was it. Thought I was dying on Tuesday and luckily I didn't have the flu. 😷 Just got some crazy winter allergies or something. 🤔 Decided to do #bbg2 week 14 legs. Missed out on the #bbg12weekchallenge. But, I'll do it in my own time. I'm going to try to get back into LISS this week too. Happy Monday 😄✌

Got my BBG week 2 legs done, then followed it up with some extra booty weight training. I got to try out the hip thrust machine at my gym. And I got new PBs on both my hip thrusts and deadlifts. 70lbs for both. I know it’s not much but it’s a lot to me! I only recently started adding in heavier lifts to my routine ☺️

Finally got my LISS in 🙌🏼 Spent the morning visiting my grandma in the hospital (she’s doing good & will be released tonight or tomorrow) then treated my mom to a Ramen lunch. Got home late & headed out for a 40 min walk, then doing legs tonight. Today, I got the lovely monthly so I’m going to take it a little easy....maybe....we’ll see how I feel later if I want to throw in my BBG Legs workout tonight or just have it be tomorrow and let my body do it’s thing today. BUT I did start Body & Mind with @sjanaelise today and it was so awesome!!!! I’m so excited to actually do yoga and have the @sweat app guide me on how to do it instead of pretending like I know what I’m doing😂 I’m excited for the weeks to come with this program and to become more flexible, stronger and to have a better posture!

Also, for my pre AND post workout, I had this here super yummy and creamy smoothie! Want the recipe!? Here ya go:

1 Ripe Avocado
1 Heaping Tbsp Cocoa Powder
1 1/2 Cups Milk (I used Almond Milk and of you want it even more chocolatey, try Dark Chocolate Almond Milk)
1 Banana
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1 Tbsp Honey
1 Cup Frozen Strawberries
Place in a blender and blend blend blend!! Soooooo smooth!

You won’t regret making this. Soooo yummy especially since I’ve been wanting all the chocolate right now🤤
