"Hey Superman! What's your favorite thing about Earth?" I was all in from this scene alone. The last couple days have been really cool sharing the excitement and experience of seeing this movie with you guys. Crazy to think I don't know about 98% of you, but we all share the love of something we grew up with and the discussions have been fun. Have a great night my friends. #dccollectibles #dccomics #dcicons #batmantasfigs #batmantas #thenewadventuresofbatman #batmantheanimatedseries #themanofsteel #ata_dc #ata_dreadnaughts #epictoyart #top_toy #toydiscovery #toyz_zone #amatoyphotography #dcmultiverse #superman #wonderwoman #cyborg #aquaman #batman #parademons #steppenwolf #justiceleague #thejusticeleague #justiceleague

"Sir, might this, wee one, be a 'leprechaun'?" "This, Alfred, is our guest..." Today's BTAS episode is titled "The Underdwellers" it is the 6th produced and 27th to air. There have been multiple sightings of "leprechauns" all over Gotham stealing from people in the streets. Batman looks into it and discovers a small community of underground orphan kids who have been under the control of the Sewer King, a creepy man who abducts and brainwashed these kids to obey him and treat him like a king. Batman saves one of the orphans named Frog, and gains his trust. Frog then helps Batman, leading him to the evil king of sewers. Will Batman be able to rid Gotham of this foul smelling foe? That's for you to discover! Have a wonderful Saturday!

"...the bottle..for the weed.." The next BTAS shot is from the episode titled "Pretty Poison". Here we see Harvey Dent telling Pamela Isley, his girlfriend, about his best friend Bruce Wayne! Bruce was taking out some thugs as the Bat but arrives to meet his friend's love interest. It's nice seeing images of Bruce laughing and looking like he's genuinely happy too. Before long Pamela excuses herself, not before kissing Harvey good bye. It's only minutes before Dent passes out in his desert and is rushed to the hospital for poisoning. Bruce is beside himself and vows to find whoever did it. It's not long into some detective work we see that Pamela Isely is behind thevehile thing, as Poison Ivy! She catches Batman with a vine, poisons him, and explains she did it because Harvey built Arkham in a spot where a rare rose grew, and she only saved one. Batman tries escaping, catching the green house on fire, and seemingly beat, he sees Ivy loom over him in a drugged daze, will he escape? How? That's for you to watch and enjoy!

Bullock- "Look at the facts Commissioner...Batman's withholding evidence. Even helped this Scarecrow guy escape! I bet my badge he and Scarecrow are in cahoots!" Gordon- "Your badge...eh?" Today's BTAS episode is titled "Nothing to Fear" and it's the first appearance of Johnathan Crane, the Scarecrow. Its one of the first episodes I ever saw so its hot special significance as far as that goes haha. The episode starts with us learning Gotham University had been getting attacked in certain ways, so Bruce is at a fun raiser to help. He runs into someone who knew his father and the man gives Bruce a verbal run down, telling him his dad woukd be ashamed of his lifestyle. Soon after that Bruce sees Scarecrows crew heading into a vault and goes after them. While taking on Scarecrows thugs he gets hit with a dart and instantly feels the effects. He sees his father in a hallucination and his father straight up tells Bruce that he has failed him. Batman goes after Scarecrow later while stealing from the rich at a fundraiser for the University. Scarecrow is able to get to a blimp and Batman follows by climbing a hose on the outside. While hanging from the blimp he starts seeing his father tell him he's a disgrace again, but this time he answers in the now famous line.."No, no..youre not my father, I'm not a disgrace...I am vengeance, I am the night, I am Batman!" The rest is for you to see! Have a great Wednesday!

"Who says crime doesn't pay?" Today's BTAS shot is from the episode titled "The Last Laugh". It's April Fools day and even Alfred pulls a little joke on Bruce, but it's not long till the streets of Gotham are full of citizens high on Jokers laughing gas as he loots the city. Joker and his crew leave town via trash boat but Batman gets to them regardless. Batman gets trapped and thrown into the ocean while inside a locked trash can, but manages out. He then quickly dispatches of the two goons, but of course, Jokers got an ace up the sleeve, Captain Clown. Batman realizes he's fighting a robot and uses a compactor to take him out. Joker then uses the quote "You killed Captain Clown...YOU KILLED CAPTAIN CLOWN!!", which always reminded me of Jack Nicholsons "He stole my ballons!" famous Joker line. Any Joker episode is a great one, you already know that. Enjoy your Thursday! Especially to those seeing Justice League tonight. I'm seeing it Friday morning so today will be spent avoiding spoilers. 😃

Here is every @dc_collectibles Animated figure that has been made in both classic BTAS & TNBA form (minus Harley because she barely changed). Who benefited the most from the redesigns? "It's A Wonderful Life" will not be seen this year. In its place is the following: Joker here. Greetings, Gotham, and merry Christmas. I hope you're watching, Batman. This one's for you!" Today's BTAS shot is from the episode titled "Christmas with the Joker". It's a classic episode that sees the Joker breakout of Arkham Asylum on Christmas Eve while singing "Jingle Bells Batman smells". Batman and Robin catch wind of his escape and go looking for him, but Robin tries convincing his partner there's no way anyone would commit a crime on Christmas. Eventually Batman relents and they go home to watch "It's a Wonderful Life" but instead they see the Clown Prince of Crime doing his own Christmas Special! He's got Gordon, Bullock, and Summer Gleeson all bound and is threatening to kill them if the dynamic duo can't reach him on time. It's a superb episode and Hamill is of course on his game throughout voicing Mr. J. Have a great Tuesday!

Today we start the daily Batman: The Animated Series Shots again and we start with the pilot episode "On Leather Wings". While being the pilot it was not actually the first to air, that distinction belongs to "Cat and the Claw" part 1 but by now you guys know this. When you put this episode on, you know you're watching something special. Even if you watch other episodes, nothing quite has the look of this one. Even though the show as a whole has a dark tone and lighting, this one is just a bit darker and more saturated then the rest, which I love! My favorite parts being when the episode slows and we see Batman using his detective skills. When interviewed Bruce Timm said they went with the Man Bat for the villain in the pilot to showcase their series, design, and vision for Batman and if they used a classic rogues there would be too much distraction with people comparing them to previous actors and so on. With no pre-conceived notions on the Man Bat the audience was free to enjoy the mystery of the episode. This is one of the best episodes due to the fact it sets the tone for the most iconic Batman currently in history. We see great art, design, the GCPD at odds with the vigilante, Batman a full on detective figuring out the mystery of the Man Bat, the Batcave and Alfred, it's about as perfect a pilot as you can get. I'm looking forward to the 4th time through the BTAS shots! Have a great Monday my friends!
