There are times where you must burn the ships and attack what you want like a savage. People might tell you that you have time, but you really don't. You have a small window of your life to accomplish what you want in this sport and anything that hinders you from putting in the work must be cut off. You must invest in the right things (development) and then execute in front of coaches. Nobody feels sorry for you if you do not commit yourself to the game. Talking doesn't mean anything, only action. Invest in your development and set yourself up with coaches and friends that are willing to support you.
