Here’s a great functional combo sequence to hit the back and posterior chain muscles. Complete these 4 in order: 1) KB Gorilla Row low pull- this engages the Lats and the unilateral movement isometrically works the obliques 2)KB Gorilla Row High Row- this engages the mid back along withe the rhomboids, infraspinitis muscles, teres major and minor muscles. 3) wide stance KB sumo RDLs- Total engagement of the entire posterior chain muscles: glutes, erector spinal muscles, mid and upper back, and all gluteal muscles 4) wife grip pull up (slow tempo- this engages deep into the lats, lower trapezius muscles, and biceps.
Great thing about all these exercises is they do a great great job not over stressing the spinal column.
