We love to have fun, and sometimes too much of it. “Ugh, I need to take a month off of drinking” is a common phrase heard among our people. I’ve started sober months so many times only to quickly fall off “the wagon” days later because in our world It’s f*ucking TOUGH to avoid the non-stop temptation. It feels impossible at times.
However, the times I have pushed through and made it that month (or whatever time I set for myself) were absolutely life-changing for me. I felt happier, super clear headed, calmer, I slept better, connected with people on a more meaningful level, my memory improved and the list goes on… and I was able to do it because I had set up a support system. That’s why I’m holding this challenge; I want everyone who feels like they are ready to take a break to feel supported as well as learn some new shit about health, wellness and themselves. You may even choose to stay off the sauce even longer once you see how incredible you are capable of feeling (#feelbomb level 10).
