What's this? My first and only ever tutorial video? This isn't something I ever saw myself doing, but this was just too helpful not to share. As I go into the volume phase of my meet prep, I know from experience that literally everything will start to tighten up, especially the hips, this stretch right here is something I recommend to anybody to do pre workout to loosen up those tight hips. As seen in the video, simply get in a lunge position, grab your opposite trap with your hand on the side of the leg that's lunged forward and slowly start bringing you elbow down to your posting hand, all while making sure your hind knee is elevated. It may seem like such a simple stretch but I it has help me alot. Obviously this isn't going to guarantee that you won't get hurt during the workout, and it's not the only stretch you should do, but it definitely should be considered.
In the past I only knew of stretches that only stretch one or two muscles at a time, but this stretch hits three and it's effective, it hits groin, hips, and glutes, not to mention also warming up your shoulders slightly by posting with your arm to hold you up
