As much as I like mixing up my exercises and doing various different movements there’s no denying that the BASICS work best for building muscle. Progressively overload your exercises (more weight,more sets,more reps,better form,less rest,supersets etc) and you WILL grow more muscle (providing your eating accordingly).-
Be patient and trust the process. Rome wasn’t built in a day and all the jazz.
