Skwats squots skwots squats! Added 5 lbs to my previous two days with some dangly 2 1/2s. Had a hell of a time getting going this morning. Woke up late, walked into a wall, accidentally put a 25 on one side of the Barbell and a 45 on the other side when I went to clean, initially lol. It just wasn’t a smooth morning. I did get through, however. 3 sets of 6 club squats, 1 set of 3 on cleans, 2 sets of 3 on squats with a 10 lbs drop on the second set, and 1 set of 3 climbing board leg raises. Something New: #cleans! Never tried #crossfit style #barbellcleans before - like EVER! So my #fail after #epicfail was testament to that! 😂🏋🏻‍♂️ My knees don’t give me much #stability in the #squat element of the movement so had to move right down to 30kg total weight to start to find any sort of rhythm. I’m learning. And I’ll improve. 💪🏼 Then on to #deadlifts where my technique wasn’t quite there on my max #PB of 130kg today, but I lifted it. Managed 125kg with a bit more control then banged out some sets and reps on the lower weight. Using the lower handle on the #trapbar so a little more extension involved. This was in addition to some more controlled #backworkout elements including #rows etc... goods and bads in today’s session but got through it. 💪🏼

Been awhile since I've posted a work out video, we are three weeks into strongman training and so far really enjoying it and having a lot of fun. Today's workout was barbell hang cleans (final set @169lbs) followed by deadlift following the 5/3/1 method then two accessory super sets for 5 sets of 10. Still trying to learn the form on cleans so any help there is appreciated. On deadlift I did 425 for 8 leaving a few reps in the tank. Goal for this week was 1+ rep on the final sets so I'm happy with that. Tomorrow will be event training now that we are finally getting a break from almost a week straight of rain.
