My friends from football players here at Iowa to professional power lifters I met at fitness expos told me to try out bench press w/ Chains. Allows for much greater overall weight to be tossed around while working on that lockout strength common in regular bench or Calisthetics like push ups. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔So I tried it out. Threw around 403 for 13 reps (I found out chains are 30, 44, 60 lbs.) It was both easier since my regular bench record was 325, and since the chains force you to maintain lockout, I see now why I was suggested this version of bench. It's always good to try new things 😀😁😃😄😆😉😊😋😎😗😙😚☺🙂🤗🙄

So in the last year I've took my #training much more serious and really focused on the holes in my game. Even though I was very scared to I jumped aboard #misfitsathletics programming specifically to help with my #conditioning , it's been one of best decisions I've ever made. Warm up of 3x15 strict press 65lb.
#barbell 5x10 of front squats at 135lb.
#metcon was the open workout #15point5 of cal on row and thrusters. The year that this was introduced I did it in 6:50. Today I did it in 5:54 for a #pr and would on been good enough for 4th in the central region.
#mogains was 5 rounds of 10 pause front squats 135lb super set with 10 push ups. One second down, one second up.
#strength was quickly work up to a max clean (325)

#accessory was 3 sets of 2 #strict muscle ups ub with 10/10 side bends 70lb kb.
