An amazing workout for the core.
Technique:
-Go down in plank position on the Flowin board with the plates arranged as in the vedio.
- Move in a circle on the board and do a pikup at the same time.
- come back in the plank position.
Why do it?
Works amazingly on the core.

Why is it so important to train your chest muscles?
Ur trainer in the gym will give u different chest workouts, at various angles. The reason for this is that all workouts work on different muscles of the chest.
Here is a flat bench press with 14kg dumbbells.
Chest muscles are one the biggest muscles of the upper body and thus form a huge part of Ur daily work.
They help Ur body to go up and down, thus a push up.
Since the muscle is big, it burns up more calories faster.

Importance of rest between sets!
Each set generally has reps between 10-15 depending on the weights u lift or the intensity u work out at.
Here is why rest intervals have a great impact on Ur workout:
-Rest too long and your workouts lose intensity; rest too little and you burn out too quickly.
- muscle gain: The amount of time can vary a bit, depending on how many sets you're going for and how heavy the weight is but 60-90 seconds between sets is a good guideline. It helps u the recover better, gain more muscle and perform better for the next set.
- Fat loss: For circuit workouts or higher-calorie-burning programs, keep your resting time between sets to 30 seconds or less. For alternating sets, however, you can bump that time up to 30-90 seconds.
-Strength gain:
Both your muscles and central nervous system need time to recover from the effort of lifting very heavy weights, and failing to rest long enough will prevent you from lifting heavy on your next set-and even slow your recovery for your next workout.ย

Technique:
-bend backward in the standing Position. The bend forward and put Ur hands on the knee pad. - slide back with both the legs in a hand plank position.
- slide foward like knee tucks and stand up again.
- repeat 10 times for 3 reps.
Why do it?
- it's a whole body workout
- doing just these gives an extra pump to Ur body.
- works amazingly on legs, back and core.

Whole grain vs refined grain.
Y is whole wheat pasta/whole wheat flour/whole grains more healthy than refined ones like all purpose flour (maida)/white bread? - whole wheat flour or any whole grain for that matter has a lot more fiber than the refined ones.
- also, they are high on B vitamins - take a longer time to digest, thus making u eat less.
- also, they do not spike up sugar levels as maida or white bread.
- to be taken in the mornings or in the noon as they take longer to digest and are much more filling comparatively.

Nutrition tip for the day:
We keep saying eat this, eat that, but how many know where to stop? -if u eat millets everyday and eat two cups of 60g each (big Bowl). Then u balance out the same amount u would eat rice or wheat. - if a diabetic eats two sweet made of sugar free then it's equal to eating one sweet made of normal sugar.
- thus, what u eat is a matter of concern only when u know how much of it to eat and that is why portion size plays such an important role in Ur diet.
- as per Indian standards, 30g of cereals or pulses (one small bowl) counts for one portion of food u intake. Which means u need 45-60g of a cereal or pulse u eat for a meal.
So eat healthy and eat how much ever Ur body needs and control Ur portions as per the needs.

I have a weakness for Jasmine Flowers. The authentic tpyical smell of this flower is said to be the 'ancient smell of calm". Picked them up during my evening walk from 8th cross.
