#tbt To last month when I got to make this cute Isomalt (sugar) balloon animal in Michelle Boyd's class at Cake Camp. In order to make it I blew sugar through a straw, much like glass blowing. It was so hard, yet so fun!
Sadly my little animal did not make it back in one piece. 😢 Blown sugar is super fragile, just like glass. Luckily, I snapped a quick picture of it in my hotel room before heading home, hence the harsh lighting.
