Lunch: vegetarian burger 🍔 (pumpkin, halloumi, mushrooms, spinach, onion and relish) I ate 3/4... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Dinner: gelato 🍧 (brownie, cookie dough, macadamia) and coffee ☕️ I relay shouldn’t have gelato due to my issues with fats and dairy... but a girl has to live too 😂💗was worth it! Ate 3/4 again 😂 started to feel so sick! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🧘🏻‍♀️ Y O G A 🧘🏻‍♀️ I’m not a yogi as such but I am down with the benefits of yoga and how much it complements strength training. My recovery has sped up no end, thanks to lengthening my muscles, post workout, and mostly doing this with yoga moves. Strength training shortens your muscles, which is why it is so important to lengthen them at the end of every session. If you can do a whole session of yoga per week, all the better. Don’t worry if you can’t get to a yoga class, there are excellent classes on YouTube. I love the videos on the Tonic channel. Are there others that you use that you could recommend? Going back to my second to last video on here, it is vital that your PT takes you through stretching at the end of your session. Don’t let them get away with not doing it! 💪🏼 Thank you to @ellaguilding for getting me into yoga - I miss you! For anyone local, @ellaandfleurhotyoga is the absolute best place for yoga in town. 🧘🏻‍♀️❤️

What's the food that makes you stay healthy?

For me the answer is easy: eat greens and sufficient amounts of protein! By no means excluding carbohydrates, because that's important too, as well as good fat. But those times when I slipped of my normal and preferred eating routines for xyz reason, and not eating green salads as part of the meal and enough protein, I get unsatisfied and hungry! At the same time I probably eat too much fast carbohydrates. For example if I would eat white bread with honey for breakfast and couscous without chicken and only overcooked vegetables for example, my stomach would be sad and so would I, because I would be tired! The negative wheel of hunger and cravings for carbohydrates would easily start.

An oatmeal porridge and an egg for breakfast gives me a complete different and good start of the day. When I have couscous or any other lunch, I prefer more raw vegetables like salad or just quickly steamed/boiled/lightly cooked vegetables. Sufficient and moderate amount of whole grain couscous instead and ensure I eat like 1 chicken fillet, which would leave me happy and satisfied. Salmon and Roast Veg 🤤
Definitely a fav of mine!! Deets: fresh salmon fillet (broke mine up and cooked it with chilli, garlic and olive oil) steamed broccolini and roast veg - sweet potato, potato, capsicum, cauliflower, red onion, garlic cloves and baby carrots (all cooked in olive oil and with fresh rosemary leaves on top) 👌
