Starting the day with a wholesome breakfast after an early morning PT session with @charlotte_allan 💪🏼.
A fibre and protein packed meal to keep you fuelled until lunch! 2 slices of brown bread, toasted, a snap pot of @heinz baked beans, a quarter of a tin of chopped tomoates and a handful of spinach!
💡 Did you know? Spinach is a great source of iron. Iron plays a key role in the function of red blood cells helping to transport oxygen throughout the body, in energy production and DNA synthesis. Spinach is also great source of vitamin K, vitamin A, vitamin C and folate! Vitamin K is important for maintaining bone health and spinach is one of the best vegetable sources for providing this nutrient! Other sources come from kale, broccoli and green cabbage! Why not try adding more greens to your plate or adding them to casseroles, stews and pies if you don’t like them on their own. Little additions to your daily means can provide you with many nutrients you may be lacking in!
