Ahh exercise 😍 I love it... which is crazy because when I was younger I despised it, but that’s because it was sort of forced on me 😅
Exercise should be fun 🙌🏻 and I’ve found that it can be, when you aren’t forcing yourself to do it, or you aren’t doing it because someone told you to 😬 .
The gym shouldn’t feel like a place of punishment, it shouldn’t feel like a place that you “absolutely have to go to.”😅 .
I truly believe that there is a form of exercise for everyone 🤗 for some people it’s walking, hiking, maybe Zumba.. for me it’s cycling and lifting weights 😊 .
Exercising intuitively means exercising to make yourself happy, not because you “have to” 😅 at the same time, I will be honest in saying that there are days that I go to the gym when I’d rather be laying around, but that’s because I know I will feel better after 👏🏻
My point is- find exercise that makes you FEEL GOOD 🤗
1️⃣ workout because you want to
2️⃣ workout because you feel like it may make you feel better
3️⃣ if you’re 15-20 minutes into a workout and you feel like CRAP, then leave 😅
It’s all about finding balance with working out, sometimes that means going because you truly want to and other times going because you think you’ll feel better 😬
I feel like this may be a bit confusing, but I want to be transparent in saying that yes, I go to the gym when I don’t necessarily “want to” but if it doesn’t make me feel better than I leave! 😊 okay that is all 😂 have a great rest of your week!

Came home and hubby and Gabe weren’t home. They had gone to cadets. Violet wanted pancakes for supper but I wasn’t about to have that for supper so after the batter was made (I make mine from scratch) and while they were cooking, I made myself some shredded hash browns and an omelet. I’m not the best omelet maker as far as how it looks but it tasted good so who cares lol. I put green pepper, diced ham and tomatoes inside with a bit of mozzarella. Believe in yourself

I challenge you to work the muscle of discipline in this land of “motivation.”
There will be days when you don’t FEEL like doing anything. Not drinking your water, not sticking to your intention to eat healthy, not breaking a sweat, not practicing your gratitude, not taking your supplements, etc.
Do it anyways.
It might be uncomfortable at first. It might feel hard. It might seem almost impossible.
Right before your eyes you’ll start to see habits deeply root and become part of your soul. Part of who you are.
The secret to success with health is not motivation. It’s DISCIPLINE. It’s showing up for YOU even when you don’t feel like it, it’s doing the work of consistency even though results are small but steady and it’s about entraining certain rituals into your daily routine until they become as easy as and automatic as taking a breath.

This week I was craving burgers, so I made a healthier choice and created this meal that actually tastes like a burger! Instead of having a regular styled burger with ketchup, mustard, mayo and cheese, I decided to have a barbecue styled turkey burger. This meal could be for lunch or dinner!

Extending off that point of thankfulness, remember to always be grateful for what you have and for who you are. It’s easy to get caught up in looking at what others have and at who others are, and feeling that what you have or who you are isn’t good enough... Wrong! 🙅‍♀️
You ARE good enough! You ARE beautiful just as you are. You already have everything you need to be happy! Just being you and being a good, genuine person is plenty! Trust me, we all have those moments where we think negatively about ourselves, myself included! But that’s okay because we’re only human and we’re not perfect. But simply reframing your thoughts and changing your outlook will make your life that much better!

We made enchiladas for a good cheat!! So yum! No cheese on the inside, but a little handful of grass-fed on the outside. and no tortillas! Instead, we used super thin sliced zucchini to wrap them in.

I promise you won’t miss the tortilla, or the inflammation 😉 yes, yes I know but there’s cheese on there!! 🤷🏼‍♀️lol

4 large zucchini
3 cups shredded chicken
1/2 cup cheese
Handful of cilantro, chopped
1 teaspoon sun-coco oil
1Teaspoon garlic
Red enchilada sauce
Seasonings-used cumin, chili powder, onion flakes.

Preheat oven to 350
With a curved peeler, mandolin slice the zucchini into super thin slices.
Oil sautee pan and add garlic and onion flakes, until browned.
Add shredded chicken and 1 cup of the sauce, until heated and “saucy”
Lay out three slices of zucchini a little over lapped and roll up some chicken mixture inside.
Repeat, top with the rest of the sauce and cheese.
Bake for about 18 minutes, sprinkle cilantro and #voila
