Hey guys! So, this isn't a regular caption. I want to address something. Since I've started riding, I have heard numerous people say something along the lines of "Good riders will get bucked off" or "Its ok, good riders fall off" I just want to say this as simply as I can, that is so false. GOOD riders do the best they can to NOT have their horse buck. Good riders know what they are doing and don't mess around in order to get the horse to buck. Good riders have good balance and do their best to stay on. Good riders have a good seat and try to sit out their horses bucks if their horse does happen to buck. I am annoyed at the people who use the saying "Good riders get bucked off" or "Good riders fall off" as an excuse for their poor riding abilities, balance, and relationship with their horse. I'm NOT saying that good riders NEVER fall off, or NEVER get bucked off. I'm saying that if you're a good rider, getting bucked or falling off should not be an everyday thing for you. Olympic riders are good riders (obviously) and you don't see them getting bucked or falling off in the arena. I've been riding all different kinds of horses for the past 2 years and I have only fallen off 2 times, and have only been bucked off once. You're bound to fall off or get thrown a time or two while you're learning or trying new things, but once you get GOOD, all of that should stop. If you made it to the end of this huge paragraph, comment "👏" for a spam!!
