You can not change overnight. It takes time. People usually give up because they don’t see results after a week of working out and eating healthy. They don’t realize that it will be a while. For example I treated my body like crap for 30 years. One week of working out and eating right will not fix 30 years of neglect.

So this week I started to do a 10 min quick workout right after I wake up. All body weight and it helps with my core and mobility. It’s a quick easy workout that can be a great start of the day. I also use this workout to warm up before any of the weeks workouts. Today was Chest and Bicep day. It was amazing I added a new set of exercise to my routine so it is now four instead of three for each muscle group.

To be honest I struggled getting to the gym today. I had about 4 hours of sleep, I’m sore from previous workouts, I have a ton of work to do. But I’m a man of will power if I focus on something it gets done. I’ve spent years not focusing on my health or body. Now I am. So no matter how many excuses there are if I’m not in a hospital bed I will get to the gym. Because if I don’t I will be in a hospital bed.

Thank God It's Monday! After a not so good active rest day (I was sick). Today was much better! 🦍
One thing I wanted to say is a lot of people try diets that supposedly will make you lose weight fast or because some celebrities clam it works. Some diets or weight loss programs require you to take pills and powders or drink tea's even if you wear wraps etc.. I have come to realize all you need is to eat healthy, be in a caloric deficit (but still eat enough calories that you are not starving) and a great workout routine that you change every so often.

There is no short cut, everyone is different so why would a fad diet work for everyone. Do research, eat healthy, hit the gym. 80% of weight loss is in the kitchen!

What happens if I fall short? What happens is I get angry and even more determined to reach it. I want it more. The same thing happens when I do reach it because I will always want more!

Bench press, incline bench press, cable crossover, Arnold press, dumbell overhead tricep extension, side lateral raises with a superset of front raises, dumbell shoulder shrugs, tricep rope pushdown, face pulls, single arm cable tricep pushdown.

⭐️long post ⭐️Last few days I've been wearing tanks and shirts that used to be extremely tight on me back in march/April. They used to show every roll I had and my gut that I was gaining from when I stopped working out back in December through march. I was about to throw them out because I didn't think I'd get back down to being tiny again. But I kept them because it was motivation to be the best version of myself physically. Now the shirt is extremely baggy and the tank doesn't even touch the tip of my tummy.

I didn't start researching diet until these past 12 months and more extensive in the past month. I just worked out and left it at that for all these years because I was comfortable to an extent with it. Thinking that as long as you worked out you'd get the results you want. But after taking nutrition classes and kinesiology type classes definitely turned my head the other direction. Nutrition is half the battle people!!!! Used to think that I'd never get those abs that I wanted. But I remembered snookies healthy transition and anything is possible and now I'm getting an outline of my abdomin because of nutrition and the workout regimen for me! When you're passionate about something you go for it and I'm glad I didn't give up fully. With the help of a person I hold near and dear to my heart pushing me back in March I can't thank that person enough. That was the support I needed. And As well as @badasscassfit_ for giving me a plan to go after.
