I am getting really excited about an all new group I’m starting in June that will be nutrition-focused and will be dealing with some of the very things I struggled with a couple of years ago. I literally ate “grief bacon” in the form of ridiculous amounts of fried food, ice cream, and pastries for MONTHS in 2014! It was as if I had no control of myself. If you haven’t experienced that kind of impulsiveness to eat it’s hard to explain. Eating your feelings is a real thing. Add to that a whole lot of emotional baggage in relation to food and it’s no wonder I couldn’t get a handle on my weight just going further into obesity for 13 years!
It took me MONTHS of reading and research and trial and error to finally get past my road blocks and start losing weight (I used a very similar approach for the first 50 lbs. of my weight loss while I did the 21 Day Fix workouts. I knew I needed to eat in such a way where I could still live my life but learn control at the same time, not deprivation!
