Today I'm going back to the gym after two weeks off. I was supposed to pop out of bed, Mr Blue Sky style, and be pumped to get back under that bar to pick up where I left off with solid 175 pound squats. REALITY CHECK: I feel like garbage, my stomach is unhappy, I have zero desire to do anything today after my busy weekend, and I bet 115 pounds will feel like death. I'm going to be sore and humbled this week, yet again. REALITY CHECK 2: I'm going anyway. Sure, I'll be bummed out about my numbers and question my ability and every squat is going to fucking suck, but if I don't crawl through this shit week, there won't be an awesome next week, where I feel great again.
