Nothing crazy today! Just a quick superset I love to do at the smith machine on back day!! Underhand rows to shrugs!! Completed 4 sets of 10 for the rows and 4 sets of 15 for the shrugs, back to back! Video is sped up! Go slow and squeezeeee

2) Single Arm Cable Pull Down 4x10 each arm x Push Downs with rope 4x12

@jpup306 saw @dr.joelseedman_ahp make a post about BANA supine cable pullovers and asked if we could try them and they were a great substitute for regular kneeling pull downs this morning as she had some elbow funkiness that was going on.
#
BANA stands for Bilateral Assisted Negative Accentuated. Basically perform the concentric portion of the lift with two arms or legs depending on what lift you’re doing and the negative with one, in a very slow and controlled fashion. Everyone is stronger on the eccentric portion of the lift than the concentric so this is a great way to overload the muscle tissue. I tried these later in the day and had an almost unbearable pump after just a couple sets. Check out @dr.joelseedman_ahp page for a ton more examples of this protocol

_______ This rogue cage is lit.. I’ve been wanting to get a new band for a while to do assisted pull ups. Yeah, I can do unassisted but I have sucked at them for a while because they’re just not part of my program consistently.
I’ve been doing pull ups since I was 8 ok... truth.

Assisted pull ups or chin ups allow for super quality movement. You should never judge these as being something weak people do.. cause 💪🏼.

I did 5x10 in a giant set with my other acc.
I love it!

One of my favorite exercises for upper body has to be the lat pull down 😅The lat pulldown is a multi-joint exercise that involves movement at the elbows, shoulders and scapula. With one exercise, you work several different muscles in your upper body. The main mover is the latissimus dorsi, the largest back muscle, which extends down each side of your spine. The biceps, rear delts, rhomboids and traps are also active during the pulldown exercise. I try different variations just to keep it interesting 🤸🏾‍♀️ #happyhumpday
