Ready for another WA Marathon Club race tomorrow! It’s the Perth Marathon and some friends and I are doing it as a relay 👍 The goal is to one day to do the whole thing but with my silly calf injury I’m doing the shortest leg - ahh one day!

About Last Night (at the track). Simple but not easy.
2 x 1600 with 400 recovery, 2 x 800 with 400 recovery, 2 x 400 with 200 recovery. The goal was strict 5k pace for the first of each pair, with the second of each pair faster than the first. About Last Night (at the track): There was plenty of speed and plenty of sweat. Coach @shanepaulneil led the drills including high knees, butt kicks, carioca and backward running. Then the group got to work on the @coachcane workout: 5 x 1k at 5k pace with 200 meter + 2 minute recoveries, and 3 x 300 at mile pace with 100 recoveries. Photo credit: @zhetrick
