So after being bed ridden for a couple of days, I was going mentally down hill too. So, I got up and put on some clothes and headed to the gym. I decided to try out some learns from the #babygottrack workshop I attended last week, led by @chasing19 .
I figured this would keep me at a steady rate and not push my system hard. I ran 3 miles breathing only through my nose..... which was an eye opener.
I learned how I can actually run without having to suck air through my mouth creating drama in my running form... I learned that my form was relaxed and fluid (at a pace that might usually ‘tighten’ me up) and that when I struggled to maintain the breathing nasally it was because my mind had wondered elsewhere, bring my attention back to it brought back my control. I learned that I will be doing more of this.
This was really meditating and calming and I have no doubt good for my lungs, their capacity and my anxiety! Thanks Chevy for opening my eyes! 🙏
