Today he had egg yolk cooked with some grated courgette which he LOVED, with raspberries which seem to be his favourite fruit, a plum to chew on for his gums, a string cheese and some pear. Pear was too slippery to hold so didn’t go down too well 😂 maybe I’ll leave the skin on next time to help him hold it easier!?
D I N N E R ideas, Roasted zuchini, potato, radish and carrot in coconut oil & pumpkin veggie bites all topped with hummus (chickpeas, tahini, coconut oil, lemon juice and water blended) sprinkled with black sesame seeds. Avocado topped with hemp seeds.
🌈 D I N N E R 🌈 Some leftover puréed stew to start, then we had a broccoli chicken and potato “sausage” - I boiled a small head of broccoli with a medium sized potato, puréed those and mixed with some cooked chicken thigh mince, parmesan and an egg then rolled them into shapes and baked in the oven for 20 mins. He really enjoyed eating one, texture took a while to get his gums around but he enjoyed it eventually!
Lunch . . Baby girl has a cold so has been getting upset and frustrated with chewing and not breathing..purée it is! This one is brought to you by the random vegetables in my fridge..such as.. sweet potato, carrot, capsicum, kale and peas. . . It actually tasted incredible. . More importantly, she could eat comfortable while open-mouth breathing, and more more important..nutrition ✔️✔️✔️ . Wins for all.
