This anti-rotational strength drill is the final part in our 3 part series. The goal was to introduce 3 rotational strengthening drills to add to your repertoire. Today's uses the principle of anti rotation. The band, as you move it further from the center of gravity, will create more and more torque on the body. In order to maintain and static position you will have to engage rotational muscles.

40kg muscle snatch getting #woke #awakentrainingseries week 6 feeling the gains!

Took 240 for a wavy ride today. 5lb PR, 11lbs under all time PR.

Takeaways from today's session:
1) Pulling strength is a lot stronger than 2 years ago when I hit 251, in large part to @functional.bodybuilding Awaken Training Series
2) Bar path is still out in front, slightly forward past the knee and on second pull (jumping forward slightly=chasing)
3) can't seem to get my feet off of the ground lol
