1) an account having lots of followers does not mean they are all legit. People now buy fake instagram followers. For example an account having 10 k followers but only 10likes on a post..HOW possible is that? So when shopping do not always look out for a handle that have much followers.
2.) Legit sellers usually post messages from their satisfied clients - like screen-grabs proving that they've received the products, that the items look great, or thanking them for the easy transaction, etc etc. Or pictures of their customers wearing their product. Some people also steal from other people's page so always check if they tag the customer who bought from them.
3) Finally, their prices - if the price of a product is too cheap then something is wrong. No seller will But a classic product for 1300 cost price and sell at 700. No matter the promo she is doing. But Nigerian loves cheap items and they end up being scammed.
4) they are rude and unfriendly. Although not all, some real sellers are rude becus of the kind of customers they get. I understand this because a customer will chat you up and ask for all the pictures after wasting your data to send, they will say they will get back to you but never does.
Personally I have bought items from people with less than 800 followers and they were straight legit.. It's not by having 10k+followers some of them are fake... Buy from a genuine small business owner today and their heart will genuinely bless you.. So DM is still open ...scroll through and make your orders... Do you have more tips and suggestions?
