Today was a #busyday. Fence guys were here all day doing repair work, preschool pickup and drop off, and had a doctors appointment. But I still fit in #day15. I was pumped since bumped up my free weights to 8 and 10 lbs from 5 and 8’s. I’m also pumped because I can control whether or not I workout, for the most part, despite how crazy life gets.
So, what’s with the picture? My doctors appointment was a #thyroid ultrasound. I get theses annually because unlike how I can control my exercise schedule, I can’t completely control what my thyroid does, unless I took drugs. Right now my thyroid is overactive #gravesdisease, but it’s also been hypo #hasimotosdisease. So, I try to the best of my ability to improve my thyroid health. That’s why I #avoid #gluten. That’s also why I’m passionate about avoiding personal care products that may contain harmful ingredients like #endocrinedisruptors. I will #domybest even though I don’t have #totalcontrol. Which leads me to my point. I’ve become excited about #80dayobsession because I can #choose to control my health in regards to being more fit. Control what you can and then react appropriately to the things you cannot! ❤️
