In my case, I was diagnosed after my mom passed away - the most stressful time in my life
And to heal, you need to let it go. Some of us may want to be strong, don’t show any tears, but in order to heal, you need to cry it out and talk it out.
And I wanted to talk about it because I know that I sometimes feel down and then I feel like I shouldn’t.
But it’s important to remember to not carry these feelings around because they will crush us #letitgo

I’m kinda just winging it this week as I didn’t have time to meal prep. This was whipped up (while on a phone meeting) with whatever I found in the fridge n pantry. Quick, easy, healthy, yummy, perfect for me & as after school lunch for my mid schoolers (with brown rice for them, more veggies for me) ...

* 1 lb thin sliced beef chuck
* 2 carrots, sliced
* 3 turnips, sliced
* 1 t garlic powder
* 1 t dried parsley
* 2 t salt or to taste
* 3/4 c water
👉🏻Put errthang in your multi cooker like InstantPot; cook on high pressure for 20mins.
👉🏻If you’re not on AIP, can use white potatoes instead of turnips, add bell peppers, ground black pepper

Here’s how the spicy #paleoslaw came out. Served with quick picadillo over #cauliflowerrice for me and #jasminerice for Brandon:

QUICK PICADILLO:
Sauté a diced onion and jalapeño in olive oil. If tolerated, you can add a minced garlic clove. Add #grassfedbeef and chop and sauté until barely pink. Add 1 tsp sea salt. Sprinkle with #ancho chili powder from @simplyorganicfoods . Add a dash of cumin, cinnamon, clove, allspice, and chocolate powder. Stir and done! Serve over rice or cauliflower rice. I use a stainless rice cooker for fast easy rice and I use organic frozen cauliflower rice for convenience.

If you are mold sensitive, be cautious using any dried spices. Only use new spices, store in the freezer and replace every 1-3 months.

You will not believe how tasty this is proving you can cook a fabulous meal in 20 minutes.

Make the slaw early in the day or the day before. It saves great. Also try adding a few #cashews to the top of your slaw!

I made the slaw with 1/2 green cabbage and 1/2 purple cabbage and added 2 shredded carrots. I also used the juice of a whole lime and much more oil and vinegar than called for.

Brandon requested this meal 3 nights in a row, no kidding. The slaw lasted three days so all I had to do each night was the 20 minute picadillo and rice/cauliflower rice.

This cool weather has me craving Turmeric lattes again!
I normally just use plain ground turmeric in almond or coconut milk, but I was given this blend to try by a lovely friend 💕 yum!
Apart from being delicious, turmeric lattes are high in anti-inflammatory properties, as well as antioxidants, so it's fab for all-round health and wellbeing.
This blend is vegan, sugar-free, nut-free, gluten-free, dairy-free and preservative-free. Sooooo good 🙌

I love my turmeric latter sprinked with a little cinnamon.
